Daniel Rodriguez had a crazy 24-hours leading to his first UFC knockout.
After his original opponent Takashi Sato was pulled from the card during the UFC on ESPN 15 weigh-ins, Rodriguez accepted a fight with Dwight Grant, who also lost his opponent in the final hours leading up to the event. The welterweights then engaged in an absolute fire fight with Grant landing an early knockdown that nearly earned him a lightning quick finish.
Rodriguez somehow survived and then stormed back by wobbling Grant with a punch and then pouring on the punishment until he finally put the former Contender Series away with a jaw-dropping knockout.
