Three-time UFC title challenger Joseph Benavidez is moving on with his career after a knockout loss at UFC Norfolk, but he’ll have to wait three months before getting back to the gym.
Benavidez received the longest suspension of combatants at this past Saturday’s UFC Norfolk, receiving a 90-day term for his latest title setback in a fight against Brazilian slugger Deiveson Figueiredo, according to medical suspensions released by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation.
A total of seven fighters were suspended following the event. Notes from the suspensions indicate Dos Santos was transported to the hospital after her first-round knockout loss to Megan Anderson.
