Anthony Pettis will look to return to form when he takes on fellow striker Stephen Thompson at UFC on ESPN+ 6, and the former WEC and UFC lightweight champion says he has a few tricks up his sleeve.
Pettis, who is perhaps most known for his infamous ‘Showtime’ kick against Benson Henderson at WEC 53, is planning to ‘shock the world’ with his striking on Saturday night.
“My gameplan — striking — is gonna shock the world,” a confident Pettis said ahead of his headlining bout with ‘Wonderboy.’ “I feel like the way I’m gonna attack this fight, no one’s seen it before and I’m just gonna continue building off of this.
