Anthony Pettis and Curtis Blaydes were clear-cut winners at UFC Nashville, but both could be looking at a lengthy time on the sidelines.
Pettis, who knocked out Stephen Thompson with a Superman punch in the main event at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., requires clearance from an ear, nose and throat doctor (ENT) or he will be out 180 days. Thompson received a mandatory 60-day sit due to the KO defeat.
The Tennessee Athletic Commission recently released a full list of medical suspensions from UFC Fight Night 148.
Meanwhile, Curtis Blaydes needs an x-ray and doctor clearance on his right foot, or he will also be out six months.
