A bronze medalist in the 2014 Commonwealth Games is about to have his Octagon debut on Saturday.
Currently on an eight-fight winning streak, featherweight Mike Grundy is scheduled to perform at UFC London’s curtainjerker on March 16.
Although Grundy will be stepping into the Octagon for the first time, the 32-year-old has faced some UFC competition in the past, losing to Damian Stasiak in March of 2015, but he did defeat TUF Brazil vet Fernando Bruno in his last outing in November of 2017, which led Grundy to believe he is ready for the Octagon.
“I feel confident not only because of that fight against Bruno but because all my career as a wrestler and as an MMA fighter,” Grundy told Bloody Elbow.
