UFC London victor Alexander Volkov sends a lengthy message of support to Fabricio Werdum.

Alexander Volkov earned the biggest win of his career last weekend when he knocked out former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum at UFC Fight Night 127 in London, England.

Volkov, the former Bellator heavyweight champ, caught ‘Vai Cavalo’ with an uppercut and followed up with two brutal ground strikes in the fourth round, laying Werdum out cold after a back-and-forth affair in the opening three rounds.

The 6’8 Russian is thrilled with the victory but made sure to pay his respects to an old training partner and legend of the sport (Werdum brought Volkov in as a sparring partner to help prepare for his rematch with Travis Browne at UFC 203).
