UFC London fighters to receive payment for canceled event

Fighters who were scheduled to compete at UFC London on March 21 in London, England will receive payment for the event despite it being canceled amidst coronavirus concerns six days before it was scheduled to happen.

Several fighters confirmed to MMA Fighting that they will receive show money for the cancelled event.

Fighters like Marvin Vettori, who was set to face Darren Stewart on the night, and Molly McCann, who was set to take on Ashlee Evans-Smith, have taken to social media to thank the UFC, suggesting that they will receive reimbursement for their preparation for the card, which was set to take place at The o2 Arena in the English capital.
