If you didn’t know before, you should by now: Deiveson Figueiredo is legit.
The undefeated flyweight from Brazil added the biggest notch to his belt to date on Saturday night, as he finished former title challenger John Moraga at UFC Lincoln. The time of the TKO stoppage at Pinnacle Bank Arena was 3:08 of the second round.
The opening round was fought at a cautious pace, as both competitors appeared to respect each other’s weapons. But Figueiredo picked things up as the round progressed, scoring a takedown and not giving Moraga much room to maneuver.
