UFC light heavyweight Khalil Rountree says his next fight will be his last

UFC light heavyweight fighter Khalil Rountree will be closing the door on his career some time soon. In a recent Instagram story he posted, “The War Horse” announced that his next fight will be his last.

The 29-year-old Rountree was part of Joanna Ju0119drzejczyk’s team of light heavyweight fighters at TUF 23 against Claudia Gadelha’s team in 2016. He advanced to the finale, but ended up losing by decision.

Rountree compiled a 4-4 record in the UFC, with one No Contest verdict. He won one Performance of the Night bonus when he knocked out Gokhan Saki in the first round of their fight at UFC 226 in July 2018.
