Hours after the Albuquerque Police Department confirmed that a felony arrest warrant was issued for UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones following a hit-and-run on Sunday morning, Jones is now in police custody. The news was confirmed by local NBC affiliate KOB.
Jones is expected to be charged with "leaving the scene of an accident involving death or personal injuries". According to the police report released earlier today, Jones allegedly ran a red light in his silver Buick SUV and crashed into the driver's side of another car, driven by a pregnant woman.
