“Boom” was hunting for a KO blow from the opening seconds of his featherweight bout against Hunter Azure at UFC Jacksonville on Wednesday and after dealing with the best Azure had to offer in the first round, he landed a stunning left hand that put Azure down for the count.
It was the second straight finish for Kelleher (21-10), who submitted Ode Osbourne in his previous outing in January. Both Kelleher and Azure were moving up to 145 pounds for the first time in the UFC due to their bout being scheduled on short notice.
