UFC Heads to Pittsburgh for Fight Night Event on Feb. 21

The Ulltimate Fighting Championshipp will return to Pittsburgh for the first time in nearly five years on Feb. 21, the Las Vegas-based promotion confirmed on Thursday.

The UFC Fight Night event will take place at the Consol Energy Center in downtown Pittsburgh, and the card will be televised on Fox Sports 1. A headlining bout will be revealed within the next several days.

The promotion last visited the Steel City on June 26, 2011 for UFC Live 4 “Kongo vs. Barry.” In the evening’s main event, Cheick Kongo rallied from the brink of defeat to score a memorable knockout victory over Pat Barry 2:39 into the opening stanza of their heavyweight clash.
