UFC Gdansk medical suspensions: Donald Cerrone potentially out six months after KO loss

UFC welterweight Donald Cerrone highlighted a list of five fighters to receive potential 180-day medical suspensions in the aftermath of UFC Gdansk. The UFC, which self-regulated the overseas event, released the show’s finalized medical suspension list Monday to ABC record keeper mixedmartialarts.com.

Cerrone suffered a tough first-round knockout loss to welterweight up-and-comer Darren Till in the night’s main event. As a result, Cerrone will be forced to sit out a minimum of six months or seek doctor’s clearance from a maxillofacial specialist if he wishes to return sooner.

The four other fighters who received similar potential six-month suspensions were: Jan Blachowicz (left foot), Devin Clark (right calf and right elbow), Damian Stasiak (right knee), and Sam Alvey (right knee).
