Moreno had been a ball of fire since returning to the UFC, going 2-0-1 and reminding fans why he’s long been considered a future UFC championship contender. But standing in his way was Royval, who’d burst onto the scene himself with submission wins of Kai Kara-France and Tim Elliott.
