Former UFC lightweight champion, Frankie Edgar (23-8-1) will be fighting on a new contract when he fights on Fight Island this month. Per ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, Edgar has resigned with the UFC prior to his fight against Pedro Munhoz (18-4) on July 15th
Frankie Edgar (@FrankieEdgar), who makes his 135-pound debut next week, has signed a new multi-fight deal with the UFC, per his manager Ali Abdelaziz (@AliAbdelaziz00). Edgar was on the last fight of his old deal, but wanted to stay with UFC, where he's been since 2007.
