UFC fighter rankings: Rakic cracks top five at light heavyweight

UFC Vegas 8 was another card that was badly hurt by injuries, and featured one of the least relevant (and least exciting) main cards in recent history. There were two bright spots though, at least from a rankings perspective.

Aleksandar Rakic grinded his way into 205-pound contendership with a win over former title challenger Anthony Smith in the headliner. And Neil Magny decisioned former welterweight king Robbie Lawler in the co-main.

Here are the few changes to the rankings coming out of the event.

Men’s P4P - No changes.

Heavyweight - Ciryl Gane and Sergei Pavlovich flip-flopped the 13 and 14 spots.
