The UFC rankings have been strange lately. Following the UFC’s August 8th event, the rankings were not updated. All the way until UFC 252. After the event, they updated the rankings - but only through the event prior to UFC 252. Confused yet? I sure was.
Anyway, this rankings apparently don’t reflect UFC 252. Hopefully that update will come in the next couple of days.
So what happened at UFC Vegas 6? Derrick Lewis knocked out Aleksei Oleinik. Didn’t matter in the rankings. Chris Weidman beat Omari Akhmedov. Somehow, Akhmedov jumped way up into the rankings. And the rest?
