UFC Mexico City wasn’t much of an event. While there was some decent action, it was built around one fight, a featherweight showdown between Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens, and that went to a No Contest in under 20 seconds. So yeah, that put a damper on things.
In terms of rankings, those two men were by far the most relevant fighters on the card, and obviously they didn’t move at all due to the nature of the finish. There were a few movers, like Brandon Moreno and Alexa Grasso, but the event was largely irrelevant in terms of where people sit as contenders.
