The UFC’s event in Fort Lauderdale had a few changes to the main event, and what was left as the headliner didn’t exactly seem to be hard to predict outcome-wise on the surface. But Jack Hermansson didn’t care what people thought was going to happen - he went out there and defeated the great Jacare Souza.
Hermansson’s efforts moved himself into the top five in a rapidly-evolving middleweight division, while Jacare’s last gasp at a title shot might be gone forever.
In addition to that, Cory Sandhagen announced himself to fans with a big win, which sees him enter the rankings for the first time at 135 pounds.
