UFC fighter arrested for family violence, pulled from upcoming event in Brazil

Three-fight Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) veteran, Michael Graves, was arrested in Atlanta, Ga., this past weekend for misdemeanor battery (family violence), according to Fulton County jail records (via MMAFighting.com). The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 21 alum is reportedly still behind bars on $5,000 bail.

Graves -- who is coming off a majority draw opposite Bojan Velickovic at UFC 201 a few months ago -- was supposed to return to the Octagon against Sergio Moraes at UFC Fight Night 100 inside Ginasio do Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Nov. 19, 2016; however, the American Top Team (ATT)-trained fighter has been pulled from the contest because of his recent brush with the law.
