After consecutive weekends with no UFC action to speak of, we’re about to embark on a stretch of nine events over the next eight weeks, starting October 27th in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. The main event of UFC Moncton is a light heavyweight scrap between recent title challenger Volkan Oezdemir and Anthony Smith. As you know by now, Zubaira Tukhugov’s role in the UFC 229 post-fight brawl has seen him pulled from the co-main, so Michael Johnson will take on Artem Lobov in a featherweight bout.
Other notable main card action includes Canada’s own Misha Cirkunov against Patrick Cummins in a pivotal bout for both men, while Court McGee returns to face welterweight Alex Garcia.
