It's been a long time since the UFC's first trip to Portland, Oregon. In fact, the entire UFC 102 main card bar Nate Marquardt (who probably should be gone by now) and Demian Maia is no longer in the UFC. Well for MMA fans in the Rose City, the Octagon will be returning to Portland after a seven-year absence. The UFC announced a Fox Sports 1 event for the Moda Center (formerly the Rose Garden) on Saturday, October 1st. No fights announcements were made, but they'll be made within the next few weeks.
