The UFC is heading back to Pittsburgh for the first time in the FOX era.
A UFC Fight Night event will take place in the Pennsylvania city on Feb. 21, according to a report Thursday from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. UFC senior vice president of public relations Dave Sholler confirmed the news on Twitter.
The card, which will be held at Consol Energy Center, is likely to be classified as UFC Fight Night 82. It will air on FOX Sports 1, the report stated.
The UFC has not been to Pittsburgh since June 26, 2011.
