If you thought the UFC's trip to Sioux Falls, South Dakota was "out there" in terms of American cities to hold an event, they've gone even smaller for their September 17th event. During last night's UFC Fight Night: Lineker vs. McDonald telecast, the promotion announced their debut show in the small town of Hidalgo, Texas, which is just about on the US-Mexico border and has a population of under 15,000.
No fights have been announced for this card, although we know it will be held at the State Farm Arena. Bellator 143 was held in the same venue late last year, with Joe Warren beating LC Davis in the main event.
