England’s Ross Pearson and Scotland’s Stevie Ray today (Sat., Nov. 19, 2016) engaged in an all-out United Kingdom clash, battling in the Lightweight co-main event of UFC Fight Night 99, which took place inside The SSE Arena in Belfast, northern Ireland.
Pearson came out in his crouched boxer’s stance for this one. Ray, a southpaw, circled just outside the double black lines, looking to pot shot. Pearson looked for his left hook, Ray hit a nice straight left. He threw out a couple of kicks to break the pressure. They were in kicking range, but not yet in punching range.
