Former Bellator MMA champion Will Brooks has been suspended indefinitely following his loss to Alex Oliveira at UFC Fight Night 96 in Portland, Ore., this past weekend.
Brooks must provide ER documentation and provide evidence of physical clearance before he can fight again. “Ill Will” suffered a third-round technical knockout loss to Oliveira in Saturday’s co-main event at the Moda Center. After the bout, Brooks confirmed on Twitter that he broke his rib in the first round of the bout against the larger Oliveira, who missed weight by 5.5 pounds the previous day.
