With former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) flyweight title challenger John Dodson standing in his way later tonight (Sat., Oct. 1, 2016) at UFC Fight Night 96 from inside the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, hard-hitting Brazilian John Lineker has an opportunity to capitalize on a main event spot and inch his way closer to a bantamweight title shot. It hasn't been an easy road for "Hands of Stone," but the 26-year-old is finally cashing in on his promising potential.
When Lineker steps inside of the Octagon this evening he'll be forced to handle the quickness, athletic explosiveness and overall versatility of Dodson, who would have likely become a world champion at 125 pounds if Demetrious Johnson never existed.
