Michael Johnson looked impressive in the main event of UFC Fight Night 94, knocking out the red-hot Dustin Poirier in the very first round with a nice combination that floored "The Diamond" inside the packed State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas.
It was an all-important "W" for "The Menace" as it not only silenced Dustin in their war of words, but also helped him avoid a disastrous three-fight losing streak. Which brings me to my next point, why UFC matchmakers decided to pit Poirier -- who was on a five-fight win streak -- against a man on a two fight skid is beyond me.
