There's no arguing that Dustin Poirier has substantially improved his game since moving up from featherweight in 2015. Poirier, 27, made the jump up to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight division after getting knocked out by Conor McGregor back at UFC 178. He has forged a perfect (4-0) record at 155 pounds since then, while finishing the likes of Bobby Green, Yancy Medeiros and Carlos Diego Ferreira via knockout.
At UFC Fight Night 94 later this evening (Sat., Sept. 17, 2016) live on FOX Sports 1 from State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas, Poirier will have the opportunity to win his fifth-straight contest at his new home and showcase his improved arsenal against Top 10-level competition.
