It was the battle between two heavyweight legends Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett that earned Fight of the Night awards at UFC Fight Night 93 in Hamburg, Germany. The news was announced at the post-fight conference.
Both former UFC heavyweight champions left with $50,000 bonuses following their wild, back-and-fourth battle in the main event of Saturday's UFC card. However, Barnett earned an additional $50,000 bonus in a Performance of the Night bonus for his submission win over Arlovski.
'The Warmaster' submitted Arlovski at 2:53 of round three. With that victory, Barnett bounced back from his submission loss to Ben Rothwell last January at UFC on FOX 18.
