Heayweight veteran Roy Nelson was the night’s highest earner with a $100,000 salary for losing to Derrick Lewis in the co-main event. Lewis made $66,000, with half coming via win bonus.
Rafael dos Anjos, who lost his lightweight belt to Eddie Alvarez (pictured) in the show’s featured contest, made a $310,000 paycheck. The good news for Alvarez is that he not only left Las Vegas with a flat $150,000 (no win bonus)salary, but a highly-coveted piece of gold.
