Two days ago, the former Strikeforce welterweight champion revealed on Sunday that he'd suffered a cut on his knee, which led to the UFC seeking a replacement in case he had to be officially removed from the event. With the status of his UFC Fight Night bout up in the air, Saffiedine confirmed to MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani that he's been cleared by doctors to compete this weekend.
