Gegard Mousasi (38-6-2) put forth a dominant performance in a unanimous decision victory over Thales Leites (25-6) at UFC Fight Night 84 earlier today (Sat., Feb. 27, 2016) inside The O2 Arena in London, England.
Mousasi utilized his jab and expert takedown defense over the course of the three-round Middleweight co-main event en route to a very easy victory.
Leites wasted no time and went in on a takedown to start the fight off. The 34-year-old Brazilian pressed Mousasi up against the fence and continued to get the fight to the mat. He flopped to his back at one point, but Mousasi did not follow him down.
