Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight phenom Sage Northcutt, who went to the famed TriStar Gym back in October, will no longer be using the Montreal facility to prepare for his upcoming fight against Cody Pfister, which takes place at the UFC Fight Night 80 event on UFC Fight Pass on Dec. 10, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
That's because his father was concerned about the training regimen implemented by Firas Zahabi and Co., who saw great potential in the "Super" up-and-comer, but also expected some resistance from the elder Northcutt, who's been calling the shots since day one.
