Nine fighters from UFC Fight Night 71, including both fighters in the co-main event, could be medically suspended for up to six months.
The California State Athletic Commission has put out their breakdown of the medical suspensions after a very physical UFC Fight Night 71 card in San Diego last week, and the list is long. No less than nine fighters could be facing suspensions for up to 180 days, which includes a litany of fighters from the main card. It should come as no surprise that Josh Thomson is on the list, as well as the guy that beat him, Tony Ferguson.
