Yoel Romero (pictured) entered the UFC in 2011 looking to bounce back from the only loss of his professional career. Romero has done so in devastating fashion.
Romero collected his sixth consecutive victory by bashing Lyoto Machida’s face in with a barrage of elbows. Machida was knocked out cold at the 1:38 mark in the third round.
Romero caused an even bigger stir during his post-fight speech, where it appeared to most that he bashed America for legalizing same-sex marriage on Friday. His accent is very thick, so there’s some room for debate, but it seemed pretty obvious to this guy.
