It took former No. 1-ranked Welterweight contender -- and interim division champion -- Carlos Condit more than one year to return to action tonight (Sat., May 30, 2015) after surgery to repair a shredded knee, taking on Muay Thai demon Thiago Alves in the main event of UFC Fight Night 67 inside Goiania Arena in Goiania, Brazil.
And legs, it seemed, were on the Brazilian's radar early.
Alves whacked Condit with two significant inside-leg kicks in the first round, patiently waiting to counter "Natural Born Killer," who looked busy for the first half of the first round, but didn't do much.
