After alternating wins and losses in his first five fights inside the Octagon, Gegard Mousasi looked to string together back-to-back wins for the first time since 2013 against Costas Philippou in the main event of UFC Fight Night 66 in Manila this Saturday morning (May 16, 2015).
Mission accomplished.
After an early feeling out process, Gegard landed a takedown and proceeded to ride the entire round out on top of his foe; though he strayed pretty busy throughout with strikes mixed in with a couple of submission attempts that may have finished lesser fighters.
