Frankie Edgar won a unanimous decision over Urijah Faber at UFC Fight Night 66 in Pasay, Philippines on Saturday.
The former lightweight champion stayed relentless in his takedown efforts, gaining scores of 50-45 across the judges’ panel.
Edgar then said during his post-fight interview that he feels he deserves a title shot with a win over a marquee name like Faber, calling out UFC President Dana White in the process.
“I wanted to go out there and really make a statement,” he said, later adding, “I want that title, man. Dana’s not here, again. I don’t know if he’s ducking me, but I want that title shot.
