Mexico City’s 7,500-foot altitude didn’t get to Randa Markos or Alexa Grasso.
The two strawweights, fighting in a 119-pound catchweight co-main event at UFC Fight Night 114, put on a tremendous show at Arena Ciudad de Mexico.
The Guadalajara native Grasso, though, had the fight’s final push after 15 minutes of back and forth action, and that was enough to give her the nod.
Grasso (10-1) took two out of three 29-28 scores to win via split decision.
“I’m very happy,” said Grasso, who missed weight by three pounds on Friday.
