When you command the biggest stage of your career and need just a minute and 22 seconds to take care of business, there’s a pretty good chance you’re going home with some bonus money.
That was the case for Santiago Ponzinibbio, who had his first career UFC main event on Sunday at UFC Fight Night 113. The American Top Team Fighter needed just 82 seconds to knock out Gunnar Nelson in Glasgow, Scotland.
That was enough to earn him a Performance of the Night bonus, too. Ponzinibbio took home an extra $50,000 for his efforts.
