Michael Chiesa is one of six fighters facing a potential six-month layoff following UFC Fight Night 112.
The Oklahoma State Athletic Commission released a list of medical suspensions from the event on Tuesday. UFC Fight Night 112 took place at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Okla., on Sunday night.
Chiesa suffered a first-round submission loss to Kevin Lee in the evening’s lightweight main event. “Maverick” will be sidelined 180 days unless he receives doctor’s clearance for a possible left shoulder injury. At a minimum, he will be out 30 days with no contact for 21 days due to a scalp laceration.
