UFC Fight Night 108 medical suspensions: Jake Ellenberger out 60 days after brutal KO

UFC welterweight veteran Jake Ellenberger was one of several fighters to highlight a list of medical suspensions handed out by the Tennessee Athletic Commission in the aftermath of UFC Fight Night 108. MMA Junkie first reported the suspensions on Tuesday.

Ellenberger was given a mandatory 60-day suspension after suffering a grisly second-round knockout at the hands of Mike Perry on the night’s main card. Following the knockout, Ellenberger stayed down on the mat for several minutes before being assisted out of the cage.

As it turns out, Perry was the one who actually ended up with the stiffer sentence, as he was one of four fighters to receive a potential 180-day medical suspension due possible injuries suffered during the event.
