Heavyweight headliner Travis Browne highlighted a list of 10 fighters who received lengthy medical suspensions in the aftermath of UFC Fight Night 105, according to information released Thursday to MMA Fighting by the Nova Scotia Boxing Authority.
Browne suffered a nasty second-round knockout loss to UFC heavyweight contender Derrick Lewis in the night’s main event, which took place Feb. 19 at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada., and aired live on FOX Sports 1.
As a result, Browne will be forced to seek doctor’s clearance on a CT scan prior to returning to competition or sit out 180 days, per commission orders.
