It’s smooth sailing so far for the first UFC card of 2021.
All 22 fighters who stepped to the scale at Friday’s official weigh-ins successfully made weight for UFC Fight Island 7, which takes place Saturday at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
Featherweight headliners Max Holloway and Calvin Kattar both made use of the one-pound allowance for non-title fights, weighing in at 146 pounds. This is Holloway’s first non-title fight since June 2016.
In the co-main event, Carlos Condit and Matt Brown also successfully hit the welterweight mark, with both fighters coming in at 171 pounds.
