This is the UFC Fight Island 7 live blog for Max Holloway vs. Calvin Kattar, the featherweight headliner for Saturday’s fight card at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
Holloway has lost back-to-back fights, first dropping his UFC title to Alexander Volkanovski by decision in December 2019 and then losing an even closer decision to Volkanovski in their championship rematch seven months later.
Kattar seeks a potential title shot with a win over Holloway. The New England native has won four of his past five fights, including knockouts of Jeremy Stephens and Ricardo Lamas.
