The medical suspensions are in for the UFC’s final card on Fight Island which took place this past weekend, and two fighters are facing six months away from the octagon.
Peter Sobotta, who lost a unanimous decision to Alex Oliveira, is out for 180-days unless his forearm x-ray is cleared by a doctor. Sobotta’s suspension means next to nothing as the German retired after the loss anyway. British featherweight Mike Grundy is also out for six months after his loss to Movsar Evloev.
Both main event fighters, Robert Whittaker and Darren Till, have been handed 30-day suspensions.
