After five fights with the promotion, Brazilian UFC featherweight Sheymon Moraes has been shown the door.
Moraes, who once challenged for the WSOF bantamweight title, announced on Instagram on Thursday that he was no longer under UFC contract.
“Hey, guys. Unfortunately I’m here to give you some bad news. As of today, I’m not a part of the UFC anymore. But that’s it, life goes on”
Starting off his UFC career with a submission loss to the hot prospect Zabit Magomedsharipov, Moraes (11-4) then picked up two consecutive wins in 2018 against Matt Sayles and Julio Arce, both by decision.
