UFC: Fabricio Werdum has agreed to perform outreach for Las Vegas LGBTQ community

Things got heated between Fabricio Werdum and Tony Ferguson during the UFC 216 media lunch on Thursday in Los Angeles. It all started when the former heavyweight champion began talking over Ferguson, who at the time, was speaking to the media.

What began as simple bickering between the two men quickly escalated when Werdum repeatedly called Ferguson a “maricon”, which is a homophobic slur in Spanish.

“Shut your mouth, you f—g f—t,” Werdum said in Spanish. "Don’t talk to me like that, that’s not how it works. You can talk like that to your division but with me you can’t talk like that f—t.
