“After a full medical analysis at the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas, UFC confirms that heavyweight athlete Mark Hunt has been cleared to compete,” a statement provided exclusively to MMAFighting.com read.
The Daily Telegraph first reported earlier this week that Hunt had been medically cleared.
Hunt was pulled from the main event of last month’s UFC Fight Night Sydney after stating in an interview with “Players Voice” that he was losing his memory and slurring his words at times. He was replaced by Fabricio Werdum.
